HRH Princess Anne attends the 2025 Household Division “Heroes” Musical Spectacular at Horse Guards Parade in London
On July 16, 2025, Princess Anne attended the 2025 Household Division Musical Spectacular at Horse Guards Parade in London. Titled “Heroes,” the event is presented by the British Army and features performances by the Massed Bands of the Household Division, the Band of the Household Cavalry, the Duchess of Edinburgh’s String Orchestra, the Household Division Contemporary Band, the Massed Pipes and Drums, the Army Cadet Force, and the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery.
The event, titled “Heroes,” paid tribute to courage, service, and unity across the Armed Forces, past and present. This open-air ceremonial performance has become a highlight of the military calendar, combining pageantry with musical excellence in the heart of the nation’s capital. Princess Anne, known for her unwavering dedication to the British Armed Forces and her role as Colonel of the Blues and Royals, was the evening’s Guest of Honour.
The evening featured an extraordinary musical programme presented by the British Army. Performers included the Massed Bands of the Household Division, the Band of the Household Cavalry, the Duchess of Edinburgh’s String Orchestra, the Household Division Contemporary Band, and the world-renowned Massed Pipes and Drums. The Army Cadet Force added youthful energy to the performance, while the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery delivered a dramatic gun salute display, drawing admiration from the audience.
