Van Museum, Van, Turkey 

A warehouse built in 1932 formed the first foundation of the Van museum. First of all, the Urartu cuneiform victory stellar which was found in the region and the tomb stones of Akkoyunlu and Karakoyunlularites were collected from the places where they were located and transferred to this depot building. Van Museum Offices were established in 1945. The Van Museum Directorate was established in 1972 to better protect and expose the artifacts arising from the purchase or archeological excavations. Van Museum Sections 1- Archaeological Works Section The stone works section located in the museum garden consists of an archeological artifact hall measuring 1830 x 7.20 meters on the ground floor of the museum and an inner courtyard. In the garden of the museum, the cuneiform victory stellar of the Urartu Period, inscriptions and God Teişeba reliefs, Akkoyunlu and Karakoyunlular Period coasters and sheep in the form of tomb stones, as well as a collection of stone works from the Seljuk period is a rich collection of tomb stones are exhibited.

The archeological artifacts hall is exhibited in chronological order from the Prehistoric Period to the end of the Urartu Period.
