Gorodets Museum of Samovars opened in 2008 in the house of the merchant Grishaev. The basis of the exhibition is a private collection of the honorary citizen Gorodtsa, head of the Nizhny Novgorod FNS Nikolay Polyakov. The collection has more than 500 samovars. The museum is one of the largest and most interesting samovar museums in Russia.
