Muséum Henri-Lecoq, Clermont-Ferrand, France
Science museum installed since 1873 in the heart of Clermont-Ferrand, provided with a pedagogical garden and amenity, the Museum Henri-Lecoq explores the natural heritage of the territory, animals, plants, rocks, fossils and questions the visitor on the history of science and technology.
Derived from the legacy of Henri-Lecoq, the collections, notably enriched and preserved for more than a century, are presented in its former mansion, and make up a heritage made of memory, history and science.
Every year, the museum offers temporary exhibitions, workshops and visits to develop a taste for science and to raise awareness of our natural environment. He likes to question us about our relationship to the sciences, techniques and Nature, not to mention the link with the arts.
