Münsterplatz, Basel, Switzerland 

The Münsterplatz is located in the center of the Swiss city of Basel. It is one of the oldest places in Basle. The square is lined with many centuries-old, former Domherren houses, so the medieval character was preserved.

In the space open to the southeast of the Rittergasse and in the northwest of the Augustinergasse than the actual cross-connection, so the result from the west and steeply from the Freeway and the Barfüsserplatz Coming, the Münsterberg and Schluesselberg to Münsterplatz. The cathedral square was not until 2007 car-free. In contrast to most of the other central squares in the city, there is no public transport line across the square or its immediate vicinity. Directly below the Münster platform is the mooring of the Münster ferry.
