This is a sensitive piece of sculpture sighted overlooking the river., quite unlike many of the very stylised sculptures in Russian towns and cities.
A beautiful shapely monument. When you see the list of accidents at sea (close to the Kursk Memorial then you realize how many women (and kids) there are waiting for their beloved ones.
