The Memsahib Gin and Tea bar is the first of its kind. Inspired by the British Raj period, during which many Anglo-Indian women, ‘Memsahibsʼ, settled in Cheltenham bringing with them new and exciting tastes and flavours. Our food is inspired by Memsahibsʼ picnic. We made it our own by amalgamating Indian and modern British cuisine and named it as ‘Anglo Indian Tapasʼ. We take great pride in producing lean, green and sustainable food, promoting local produce whenever possible.

In order to provide an outstanding taste, we craft our own gin. We have developed 16 varieties of gin recipes by infusing them with the rarest teas and botanicals. These are then paired with tonics to provide a truly mesmerising experience of drinking gin.With a wide selection of 55 gins and an array of teas, we have a spectacular selection with unique flavour combinations to surprise and delight our guests.
