Memorial Minas Gerais Vale Museum, State of Minas Gerais, Brazil
Characterized as a MUSEUM OF EXPERIENCE, the Minas Gerais Valley Memorial brings the soul and traditions of Minas counted in an original and interactive way. Real and virtual scenarios blend to create experiences and sensations that draw visitors from the eighteenth to the twenty-first century.
Far from giving visibility only to a historical cut, Memorial puts in direct contact present and past promoting, with this gesture, other ways of approaching the public with the issues that cross our time.
Opened in 2010, the building that houses the Vale Memorial was the headquarters of the State Secretariat of Finance of Minas Gerais. The historical building dating from 1897 is the place where the foundation stone of the city of Belo Horizonte was launched. The construction is listed by the State Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage of Minas Gerais – IEPHA / MG.
