Hon Fabian R Picardo QC MP

Fabian Raymond Picardo QC is a Gibraltarian politician and barrister serving as Chief Minister of Gibraltar and Leader of the Gibraltar Socialist Labour Party since 2011. Following the 2015 and 2019 Gibraltar General Elections, Picardo was re-elected to two further four-year terms by the people of Gibraltar.

The Chief Minister of Gibraltar

The Chief Minister of Gibraltar is the head of Her Majesty’s Government of Gibraltar who is elected by the Gibraltar Parliament, and formally appointed by the Governor of Gibraltar, representative of the British Monarch. The incumbent Chief Minister is Fabian Picardo, since 9 December 2011, leader of the Gibraltar Socialist Labour Party.
