Sabancı Merkez Mosque, which started to serve in 1998, has been established on a total area of 58,900 m 2 and has a closed area of 12,900 m 2 . Sabancı Merkez Mosque has become a symbol of the city because of its position as it is located at the cut-off point of the main arteries in Adana, the road connecting the iron road and Adana to the surrounding provinces and districts and with its high minarets. The mosque has the ability to provide worship to 28,500 people and is the largest mosque in the Balkans and the Middle East. Sabancı Mosque with 6 minarets with a magnificent structure on the edge of the Seyhan River sits on a 32 meter dome with eight elephant feet. The height of the mausoleum is 54 meters from the kathan. The four minarets adjacent to the main house are 99 meters high, and the two minarets in the last community place are 75 meters high. The mosque has 4 rooms, 10 itikaf rooms, imam and muezzin rooms, chat rooms and fountains and all kinds of facilities.
