Reichan Hiroshima
Not far from the Peace Memorial Park, Reichan Hiroshima is known as a cozy okonomiyaki restaurant. Although it’s often crowded, the staff will take your order as you wait in line and the food will be ready by the time you’re seated.
This charming spot is one of the last restaurants that serve traditional folded okonomiyaki. The best part is, you can watch the chefs make it in front of you. Their most popular okonomiyaki variety is called “The Special” and consists of raw squid and prawns. There’s also squid tempura with noodles, fresh oysters, and okonomiyaki without fish sauce (vegetarian version).
