The beginnings of the National Maritime Museum dates back to 1958, in which it was formed the Society of Friends of the Museum. On the initiative of the Society and later Director of the Museum – Assoc. Przemysław Smolarek, in Artus Court was opened exhibition Fri. “From a paddle to a nuclear power.”
