Zaouia Sidi Ahmed Tijani, Fez, Fez-Meknes Region, Morocco
Founded by Sheikh Sidi Ahmed Tijani Sufi in 1737-1738 in the Blida area of the medina of Fez, twenty years after the founding of the Tariqa Tijaniya (Sufi), it is the most famous and most eclectic zaouïa history Africa and the Maghreb. The Zawiya and the mosque is close to the Al Karaouine.
Simple to pace, zaouïa Tijania, where the body of Sheikh Sufi, has been restored several times, notably in 1302, 1307, 1316, 1999 and most recently in 2006.
