Yuwengdao Lighthouse, Xiyu Township, Penghu County, Taiwán
Yuwengdao Lighthouse located within Xiyu township of penghu county on a sprawling vast area of land. Yuwengdao lighthouse was the very first modern type of lighthouse ever to be built in the 1800s.
For centuries, Yuwengdao quietly uses its traditional clockwork mechanism to guide passing ships safely back to their habours.
With its cast iron cylindrical body coated with a gorgeous pure white exterior glistening under the sparkling sunlight in the day and stands out by itself bravely in the night, it is hard for anyone not to notice it from afar.
