Yumurtalik Lagoon National Park, Yumurtalık, Adana, Turkey
It is located in the Mediterranean region, Adana Province, Yumurtalık District. Seyhan-Ceyhan delta lake lagoons are here. It forms a complex structure with coastal sand dunes and host plants and animals. It constitutes the 2nd place from 19 wetlands in Turkey with the class of _A.
The Seyhan-Ceyhan delta forms the natural environment protected by the plant and animal species in the lake lagoons. The National Park also features the area where two species of sea turtles, Caretta caretta and especially Chelonia mydas , survive.
