Yenikapı Pier, an Istanbul ferry port, with speed crossings, opened in October 1997. The face of Yenikapı Pier has changed with the Yalova Fast Ferry line which opened in October 1997. IDO Yenikapı Pier has become one of the most important centers of the Marmara Region with the Bandırma line added in the following years and the flights to other summer areas.
