Yemma Gouraya, Béjaïa, Algeria 

Mount Yemma Gouraya overlooks the city of Bejaia in the region of Lower Kabylia. The site would house the burial of the patron saint of the city.

At an altitude of 660 meters, the Yemma Gouraya mountain overlooks the city of Bejaia, located in the north-east of Algeria, in the Lower Kabylia region. According to local legend, it houses the burial place of the patron saint of the city of Béjaïa, Yemma Gouraya, the sister of Yemma Mezghitane, patron saint of Jijel and Yemma Timezrit, patron saint of Timezrit.

The Yemma Gouraya Mountain site also dominates the Gouraya National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve declared in 2004 because of the richness of its marine and terrestrial environment and also because of its archaeological monuments. It welcomes more than one million visitors every year, including many pilgrims visiting the one considered the hundredth holy figure of the region
