Yagan Square

Yagan Square is a place unlike anywhere else in the city. Yagan Square is a hub of activity both during the day and at night with cafes, restaurants, pop-ups and shopping providing plenty of things to see and do. The Square has a spectacular lighting display on the underside of the canopies and the iconic Digital Tower. Award-winning Western Australian hospitality operator Nokturnl Pty Ltd has been selected as the preferred proponent to reinvigorate the Market Hall at Yagan Square, with a proposal that would see a vibrant new destination created in the heart of the CBD.

Nokturnl operates the award-winning The Old Synagogue in Fremantle, which comprises four unique hospitality venues within a state heritage-listed site, with a second venue – The Beaufort in Mt Lawley, which opened last month and is already proving to be highly popular. The announcement comes as the State Government launched an exciting program of activations and events at Yagan Square, with the precinct to be become a must-visit destination across Autumn and Winter.

From May to July, visitors to Yagan Square will be able to enjoy a range of engaging and entertaining experiences, with the proposed program to potentially include pop-up markets, live music, film, and cultural performances.
