Xizhazi Ecological Sightseeing Garden
Guanlangu Lavender Sightseeing Park is located in Xizhazi Village, Yanqi Town, Huairou District. It was built in 2006 with pleasant weather conditions and a beautiful environment. It is a good place for summer vacation. Nearly 100 acres of lavender introduced from Germany in the park are growing well. The whole park is divided into five areas with different functions. It is an ecological lavender tourism industry zone integrating planting, picking, living, experience, and agricultural tourism. It is also the largest lavender garden in North China so far.
Under the blue sky and white clouds, a hundred acres of lavender flowers are like a sea, like a purple dream unfolding before people’s eyes. Whenever a light breeze passes, purple waves undulate one upon another, beautiful and charming, and they are all covered by lavender in a radius of several miles. The rich fragrance attracts tourists.
Because the flower language of lavender is waiting for love, it is loved by lovers. The beautiful meaning and blooming stamens attract more and more lovers to come here to witness their love and feel the romance of being in Provence, France. When you come here, you can leave precious memories in the fragrant lavender flowers—sweet wedding photos to witness your love. You can also taste the fragrance of lavender tea while taking photos, make DIY lavender sachets by yourself, and buy lavender deep-processed products such as essential oils and shower gels as gifts for relatives and friends.
At the same time, although the area of lavender in “Zhongtianhanhai” in Qiaozi Town, Huairou is not large, it is still in bud to welcome visitors. There, you can not only enjoy the aroma of lavender, but also pick fresh green fruits such as apricots, peaches, plums, and taste the unique fragrance of the farm’s “summer tea”.
