Xinfeng Mangrove Nature Reserve, Xinfeng Township, Hsinchu County, Taiwán 

There is a mangrove forest of 8.5 hectares near the Honghe Estuary in Xinfeng Township, Hsinchu County. It is a mangrove forest in the northern Taiwan region that is a mix of Shuizhezi and Haishuyuan. It is the only ecological reserve in Taiwan that has a viewing trail. This national treasure class ecological classroom is Hsinchu County’s most precious natural resources.

Xinfeng Mangroves is located at the mouth of Hongmao River (Xinfeng River) on the north side of Hsinchu County. It turns into the Wangfu Temple of Chifu in 66 kilometers from Xibin Highway, then goes along the embankment and you can see the red iron bridge and Hongmao Port. The easy-to-view mangrove area is near the south bank of Tieqiao, where you can see the lush growth of the Pen Tsai nuclear seawater.

Xinfeng Mangroves, following the rich organic materials washed down by the Mao Mao River, formed a vast swampy terrain at the seaport and stood on the red iron bridge to view the entire area. The south bank was full of lush growth pens and sea turtles. The entrance to the north bank is the Hongmao Port Terminal. Further ashore, there is a large area of mixed forest.
