The William Tell monument and the Türmli in Altdorf. The legendary monument of Richard Kissling is one of the most famous monuments in Switzerland. It is right in front of the Türmli in the center of Altdorf. No other Swiss is as famous as William Tell. His portrait is adorned with the back of the five-franc piece. And Tells Crossbow is the Swiss trademark for quality and precision. But has the freedom hero really lived?
