Water Geothermal Square, Datong Township, Yilan County, Taiwán
Chinhsui Geothermal Energy is located in the Chinhsui River Valley, south of Chinhsui Village in Shanshin (Three Stars) Town. The temperature of the spring water is extremely high at 95 °C, and is currently being developed for its geothermal energy resources. Its source is located beneath the shallow riverbed. Visitors will have lots of fun boiling eggs in the steaming water, and enjoy the surrounding mountains’ scenic beauty at the same time. Not far from here are several tourist spots such as Zhiukun Lake, Cueifong Lake , and Newtou Nursery, which are definitely worth visiting.
