Waikiki Beach and Surfing, Peru
The beaches of Lima are known for their beautiful views, their peaceful atmosphere, and their high-quality surfing. Waikiki Beach, along the coastline of Miraflores, is one of the most popular seaside destinations in the city. Come here for the sunset, and keep an eye out for dolphins! Lima has become a regional hub for surfers, and the shoreline is brimming with locals who will rent you a board or teach you to ride. Most local surf schools will charge you 50-100 soles for a two-hour lesson.
