According to Indian cultures, lakes are the natural mirrors for Iaci the Moon. When Iaci’s light touches a woman, she ascends to the sky as a star. One day, a beautiful woman decided it was time to become a star. She climbed the highest hill to touch Iaci.
While she was climbing, she saw Iaci reflected on the lake, and the woman fell into the lake and disappeared. Iaci felt sorry for the young woman and transformed her into the star of the waters, the beautiful Vitoria Regia.
