The Chinese View is the first tourist spot sighted before arriving in the city. Located in SP 123 just before the portal, the place offers a beautiful view of the Lageado Valley.
Formerly called the Belvedere, in the place one can appreciate a wonderful view of the mountain range, where it is possible to see the horizon meet the mountains in the middle of the valley,
Landscape of BelvedereThe Chinese View of Campos do Jordão is a place where people find a great synchrony with nature. During winter it is common to see quatis approaching very close to visitors to receive food.
The sunset at the Belvedere is a sight to behold. In the late afternoon the mountains in the distance hide the last rays of sunshine in a wonderful color show.
A delicious cane juice accompanies the tour and can be bought right there. You can also find souvenirs of Campos do Jordão, sweets and green corn in the few stalls.
Registering photos with the beautiful landscape of the mountains in the background and enjoying the view of Campos are part of the script of who climbs the mountains.
