Vin Geek is your Singaporean-based go-to translator for foreign flavours. We started in French and Italian wine (hence the name) and since then, we’ve expanded our selection of goods, along with palates. Today, we bring you a whole array of delicacies from foreign shores.

Why are we here? Well, Vin Geek is the storefront answer to a bunch of wildly amusing questions. Why is wine so full of pretence? Why is it so wanky? Why does wine knowledge come with a hefty price tag? Why am I expected to know everything about wine to taste it?

We didn’t know either. So, we created an alternative. Vin Geek is here to translate wine culture for the masses – one red, white or bubbly glass at a time. We are as nerdy about relationships and attainability, so we curate the best goods from esteemed wineries en masse. This means we can pour them for our fellow Geeks at pocket-friendly prices. And will continue to do so for years to come.

This trendy new wine bar and retail store in Orchard is making wine culture more accessible for everyone. The highlight here is the automated wine dispenser featuring 24 different bottles at one time. Wine lovers, be ready to be spoiled for choice as you get to choose wines from regions such as France, Italy, Australia and Spain served between three pour sizes (30ml, 90ml or 150ml). From pocket-friendly options (from $2.50 a glass) to higher-end vinos such as the Penfolds Grange Bin 95 ($44 for 30ml), there’s something for wine lovers of every level.
