Victoria Tower Gardens South

Tranquil park offering river views & a playground as well as memorial statues & structures. Victoria Tower Gardens is a small pocket of green space in the heart of Westminster, between the Houses of Parliament, the River Thames, Millbank and Lambeth Bridge. Look out for a number of memorials celebrating freedom, including the Buxton Memorial which marks the abolition of slavery, and French sculptor Auguste Rodin’s Burghers of Calais. And for children the Horseferry Playground includes a sandpit, dance chimes and a water play feature.

Victoria Tower Gardens is a public park along the north bank of the River Thames in London. As its name suggests, is adjacent to the Victoria Tower, the south-western corner of the Palace of Westminster. The park, which extends southwards from the Palace to Lambeth Bridge, sandwiched between Millbank and the river, also forms part of the Thames Embankment.
