No two nations work together quite like the USA and the UK. Whether in business or culture, technology or the arts, together we are greater than the sum of our parts. That’s the power of partnership, and every day, 1.2 million Americans go to work for UK-owned businesses, more than any other nation. From scientific discoveries and technological advancements to sporting spectacles and iconic entertainment, our special bond has turned shared ambition into global impact.
Greater Together LA (GTLA) is the largest-ever UK trade and cultural mission to the United States, bringing together senior UK and US political leaders, CEOs, investors, founders, technology figures, and cultural leaders in Los Angeles. It runs across 18–22 May 2026, with the core summit taking place 19–21 May.
The event is designed to strengthen the UK–US relationship through trade, investment, technology, media, culture, AI, health, sport and entertainment partnerships. It is not just a conference — it combines a private summit with city-wide public events and activations. The summit is expected to bring together roughly: 500+ UK and US senior decision makers
Senior leaders from major companies are also expected.
Presenting partners include:
GTLA extends beyond private meetings. Public-facing events reportedly include:
The Grove is involved — but not as the central summit location. Reports indicate GTLA-related public activations and tourism events are tied to The Grove later in the week. In practical terms, think of GTLA as: Davos + CES + a UK trade mission + Hollywood networking week — concentrated into one Los Angeles programme.
