Urbon Ponds, Khabarovsk, Khabarovskiy kray, Russia 

Khabarovsk city ponds is a cascade of three ponds, embankments, footpaths and entrances for vehicles. The ponds adjacent to the stadium “Dynamo” and sacs “platinum arena”.

In the late 1990s and in 2011 there were two major reconstruction of ponds with replacement of worn-out quays, waterproofing bottom and installation of fountains and light illumination.

The lower pond is called pond “Michinoku-Bank”. Named after the shopping and business partner of the Khabarovsk Krai in Japan. On the embankment of the pond “Michinoku-Bank sculptures of cartoon characters “the Bremen town musicians” and stele of twin cities of Khabarovsk. The pond is equipped with led lights and fountains, surrounded by various attractions and playgrounds.

Middle pond is the deepest and is used for skiing, pedal boats, rowing boats, kayaks and canoes. This pond also hosts competitions ship models. In the center of the middle of the pond café on stilts, having the shape of a flying saucer. The cafe is very popular with honeymooners.

The upper pond is equipped with led lights and fountains, evenings phonogram concerts of classical music with elements of a laser show. Equipped with special seats for spectators. On the embankment of the upper pond sculptures of characters from Soviet cartoons. In the Park area, an exhibition of wooden sculptures.
