Located in the southeast community of Manchester, Union Cemetery is the final resting place for many of Calgary’s earliest pioneers and settlers. It also contains a Field of Honour administered by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, where 154 First World War casualties and 3 Second World War casualties are buried. The cemetery is recognized by Heritage Calgary as a culturally significant historical landscape.
