Umm Al Emarat Park
Umm Al Emarat Park was built to serve Abu Dhabi’s locals, residents and visitors, by providing community-focused educational and recreational venues and experiences. The Park embodies all of these values and aims to promote education through recreation, creating opportunities to explore, experience, enrich and educate, through a vibrant range of facilities, while connecting communities in a safe and secure environment.
The park is a continuation of the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who was famed for his love for the desert and wanted to preserve the gifts of nature for the future generations. He stressed the importance of environmental conservation and invested heavily in spreading greenery and date palms in particular. Sheikh Zayed also founded specialist organisations to protect wild life in the UAE.
