Üç Şerefeli Cami, Merkez, Edirne, Turkey

Between 1433-1447. Mosque, built by II.Murat, takes place between the early and classical period style of Ottoman Art. Here is a plan for the first time. 24 m. The large central dome is located on the six trenches, two of which are pitched and four are pitched. Beside there are square sections covered by smaller dome. The structure is a transverse rectangular structure as an innovation. Thus, it is desired to reach the transversal developing place. Mimar Sinan has applied this plan more sophisticatedly in the glass of Istanbul. Also, in Ottoman architecture the courtyard with a portico was used for the first time. Minarets were placed on all four corners of the courtyard. The three honorable mosques are monumental buildings, which are the pioneers of the next monuments. The original pen works on the pontoon domes are the oldest examples on the Ottoman glass. The three honorable monumental minarets giving the name of the façade are 67,62 m. in height. It is interesting to get out of each way to separate from each other. The minaret is made of red stone zigzags and white squares
