TCWR has developed a reputation for this compassionate care across the country with law enforcement, universities, and others sharing a commitment to the Big Cats and other animals. This reputation has, unfortunately, made a waiting list a necessity.
Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge (TCWR) is a wildlife refuge for abused, abandoned, and neglected big cats.
It mainly specializes in tigers, but there are also lions, leopards, cougars, bobcats, black bears, ligers, servals, a monkey,a coatimundi and a grizzly bear.
