Tsuki Akari

Anago-meshi is another popular Hiroshima food specialty and Tsuki Akari makes it absolutely irresistible. It’s a broiled conger eel served over rice that is usually paired with sake. You can also enjoy delicacies such as sashimi, kabayaki, kaisen chazuke topped with sea urchin or sea brim, yakitori, seared shishamo (smelt), and a dried fin of a ray fish with soy sauce or mayonnaise.
