Tropikariet Zoo, Helsingborg, Skane, Sweden
Tropikariet is an indoor zoo in Helsingborg, Sweden. It was started 22 years ago by Magnus, who still owns and runs the place. Now we are a small family of animal keepers and café personal, trying hard to give you a once in a life time experience. Thanks to our continuous strive for high quality, Tropikariet has been growing every year since the start, and we now have around 100 000 visitors annually.
The animals are mostly exotic ones, from all around the world. We have lemurs from Madagascar, meerkats from Africa, the world’s smallest monkey from South America, and sharks from the Pacific Ocean among many, many others.
Do you want to experience the animals in their natural habit without traveling halfway around the world? Come to us! You can for instance walk through the tropical rainforest with moonshine lights and see bats and other night active animals, or look at the sharks swimming around in a living coral reef. After the visit you can eat food, ice cream, and drink coffee in our African Café Masai Mara, right next to the meerkat and tortoise savanna.
