Tropic of Capricorn Sign Post, Namibia
Tropic of Capricorn Sign marks an imaginary line of latitude. Encircling the earth at approximately 23.5 degrees south of the equator, the Tropic of Capricorn passes through a marked lying some 40 km north of a crossroads; a signpost marks the spot. The sign describes how you are linked with an imaginary line with Botswana, South Africa, and Mozambique. You may see some wildlife in this part of the desert.
