Tromso Arctic Botanical Gardens, Tromso ,Troms, Norway
As the northernmost botanical garden in the world, this stunning expanse located above the Arctic Circle features an emphasis on rare plants from the polar regions, like the Wilander Buttercup, a fragile yellow blossom that’s nearly extinct due to global warming. Don’t miss the magnificent Tibetan blue poppy, which blooms in late June and stands over three feet high.
