Trapiche Eliezer Levy, Macapá, State of Amapa, Brazil

The Trapiche Eliezer Levy was built in the 1940s by the Mayor Moisés Eliezer Levy, under the orders of the intervener of Pará, Lieutenant Colonel Magalhães Barata.

The construction project was initially submitted to the Brazilian Navy, which made the work unfeasible, predicting exactly what happened after the inauguration, because the place because it was shallow and because of the overwhelming bravery of the waters, did not offer safety or mooring conditions of the vessels coming from Other Amazonian cities.

The Trapiche Eliezer Levy has been totally remodeled, with all its structures being of reinforced concrete, with an electric cable car as well as a restaurant, kiosks selling handicrafts and an ice cream shop with earth tastes.
