Trabzon Museum, Merkezm Trabzon, Turkey

The mansion, which was organized as Trabzon Museum, was built on the Zeytinlik Caddesi as a large program residence by Banker Kostaki Teophylaktos in the early 1900s (1898-1913).

The name of the architects of the castle could not be determined. However, it is known that many of the materials used in the construction of the Italian architects are brought from Italy. When Costabi Teophylaktos went bankrupt in 1917, with this structure, all property was confiscated and the mansion was bought by the Nemlioglu family. The structure, which was used as a headquarters building during the national struggle years, was organized for the first visit of Atatürk in Trabzon in 1924. Atatürk and his wife, Latife Hanım, and their descendants remained in this mansion on 15-17 September 1924.
