Torre San Michele is a historic tower located in the center of Cervia, Italy. Constructed between 1689 and 1691, it was originally built to defend the town and its valuable salt resources from potential threats. Standing approximately 22.5 meters tall with walls up to 3 meters thick, the tower served as a fortress equipped with various openings for weaponry.
Today, Torre San Michele offers visitors a chance to experience panoramic views of Cervia from its top. An elevator provides access to the panoramic room, allowing guests to admire vistas stretching from the sea to the pine forest and salt marshes. The panoramic hall can accommodate up to 18 people, and visits are limited to 10 minutes to ensure a pleasant experience for all.
