Tongluo Tea Factory, Tongluo Township, Miaoli County, Taiwán
Copper Tea Factory is located in Tonglu Township, Miaoli County, and is one of the five tea factories in North, Central and South of Taiwan Agriculture and Forestry Co., Ltd. Located on the hilly platform, it is an acid clay red mud soil. The temperature difference between day and night is high and the humidity is high. The tea grown is thick and the tea is rich.
The main tea produced by the Tonglu tea factory is oriental beauty tea, honey fragrant black tea, green tea, and oolong tea. In particular, Oriental Beauty Tea (commonly referred to as feifeng tea) is the most representative of the region. The tea garden is mainly cultivated with Qingxin Daxie tea tree, which is the most suitable Oriental beauty tea. It is mainly harvested every year before and after the annual Lunar New Year’s Eve. Participated in the national and Miaoli Oriental Beauty competitions and won awards.
The total area of the tea garden is about 30 hectares, most of which are natural farming methods, organic planting, and about 3 hectares of organic certified tea plantations. It is a tea garden that focuses on environmental protection and sustainability.
