Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum
The Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum is an art museum in Tokyo, Japan. It is one of Japan’s many museums which are supported by a prefectural government. The current structure, designed by Kunio Maekawa, was completed in 1975. The museum is located in Ueno Park.
Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum has an exciting line up of exhibitions scheduled for 2021, including “Isamu Noguchi: Ways of Discovery,” “Walls & Bridges ― Touching the World, Living the World,” “Collecting Van Gogh,” “Group Show of Contemporary Artists 2021.” We look forward once again to bringing you art masterpieces from Japan and around the world.
