The Tower of Love, Georgia
Built on a large rock by the bank of the brimming Patara Enguri River flowing fast downhill, this well protected 400+ years old small Svaneti tower was the home for two lowers from village Kala, as the villagers did not consent to their marriage, according to one of the many different legends about this tower.
Surrounded by a beautiful nature full with different types of greenery and colourful flowers, it is well worth a short break on your way to/from Ushguli, the highest inhabited village in Europe still giving you a feeling that you are living in middle ages.
