Situated in London’s St. James’s neighborhood by Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park and the National Gallery, The Stafford London is a great option for guests who want to unwind in style after sightseeing.

The property’s accommodations are spread throughout three buildings – the Main House, the Mews building and the Carriage House – and have neutral color schemes with floral accents and high-end fabrics. Standard rooms reside in the Main House and have marble bathrooms, free Wi-Fi access, HD TVs and Nespresso coffee machines. Suites come with sitting areas and extra perks like iPod docking stations and complimentary airport transfers to Heathrow Airport (when staying two or more nights).

Recent lodgers appreciated these amenities and the homey room decor, although some said the customer service from the hotel’s employees could stand to improve. Visitors also enjoyed the property’s food and beverage options. An autograph-filled bar, a 380-year-old wine cellar and The Game Bird’s Champagne Bar are available for libations, while afternoon tea and modern British pub dishes are served in The Game Bird’s dining room. Wine tastings with the hotel’s sommelier can also be arranged for a fee.
