The Postal Museum

The Postal Museum is a postal museum run by the Postal Heritage Trust. It began in 2004 as The British Postal Museum & Archive and is planned to open in Central London as The Postal Museum in 2017. The Postal Museum and Mail Rail are in two separate buildings on Phoenix Place, connected by a zebra crossing. Head to Mail Rail first, arriving just before the time printed on your ticket. Floor guidings, signage and staff will be on hand to show you the route around the museum. A postal museum is a museum dedicated to the display of objects relating to the postal service. A subcategory of postal museums are philatelic museums, which focus on philately and postage stamps. Post Early: Relaxed Mornings at The Postal Museum. Post Early is a relaxed morning event for autistic and neurodiverse people, including families and adults, who would like to visit the museum when it is less crowded and noisy.
