The Nut State Reserve, Tasmania, Australia
The Nut is a well-known scenic attraction located at Stanley in the state’s northwest. While the path to the summit of The Nut is very steep and not suitable for most mobility impaired people, a 15 minute return chairlift ride leads to spectacular views to and from the summit.
There is a basic picnic area at the base of The Nut with unsheltered picnic tables. The toilets located within the café/souvenir shop are accessible, although assistance may be required as there are a couple of steps leading into the toilets.
