The natural landscapes of the Obock region, UNESCO, Djibouti
The city of Obock, the former capital of Djibouti, is a port city at 1,780 m above sea level. This region is characterized, among other things, by its exceptional natural landscapes composed of mangroves, a mountain range of Mabla Mountains, small volcanic islands called “islands of the Seven Brothers” located at the edge of the Red Sea with a seabed rich in terrestrial and aquatic species.
