The Langham, London

The “birthplace of traditional high tea” service, The Langham has been a celebrated staple of traditional hospitality since 1865. Aside from tea in the grand Palm Court, the hotel is home to Roux at The Landau, a fine dining restaurant run by a father-and-son Michelin-starred team, as well as the stylish Artesian bar.

And new to the property is The Wigmore, a modern British Tavern serving up classic pub eats. There’s also the Chinese-inspired Chuan Body + Soul spa, which features a health club, a salt sauna, steam rooms and a swimming pool.

The nearly 380 Victorian-styled guest rooms and suites include complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, signature Langham Blissful Beds, minibars and work desks. Upgrade to a Club-level room for complimentary breakfast, free Champagne and all-day refreshments, as well as exclusive access to The Langham Club boardroom and lounge computers. Recent guests said that while the standard rooms were on the smaller side, suites and Club-level rooms were quite spacious, and many appreciated the marble bathrooms’ luxe toiletries.

The standout cuisine, exceptionally friendly and attentive staff and gorgeous interiors all received high praise as well. You can find this hotel near the British Museum and various shops and restaurants along Regent Street in London.
