The Grand View Garden of Qingpu, Kunshan, Suzhou, Jiangsu, China
Shanghai Grand View Garden is located on the west bank of Dianshan Lake in Shanghai’s Qingpu District. It contains a collection of antique-style buildings and a large, modern garden. It was designed according to a description in the Chinese classic novel, “Dream of the Red Chamber.”
The Grand View Garden’s scenery is really something to behold. The stone bridges, lotus ponds, and pavilions form a great backdrop for photos. Inside the garden, you’ll see many wax figures of characters from the “Dream of the Red Chamber.” It is a fun park to visit and a good chance to see things outside of the Shanghai’s core urban area.
