The Gladstone Theatre, located at 910 Gladstone Avenue in Ottawa’s Little Italy, is a cherished venue dedicated to independent theatre. With a seating capacity of 230, it offers an intimate setting for a diverse range of performances. Since its transformation from a cinderblock garage into a theatre in 1982, The Gladstone has been home to numerous local theatre companies, including Bear & Co., Black Sheep Theatre, Plosive Productions, Phoenix Players, and Three Sisters Theatre Company. These resident companies contribute to a dynamic and varied lineup of productions each season.
The theatre’s box office operates Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM ET and opens one hour prior to showtime on performance days.
